Halifax Estates is based at Bugthorpe, near York and is responsible
for the management of 21 000 acres of land split between four
estates in Yorkshire. The Estate Office is located on the largest of
those estates at Garrowby but from there, land at Heslington, Temple
Newsam and South Yorkshire (Doncaster and Sheffield) is managed.
